Hi! I'm Lady Chikano
I moved to the U.S. in 2012 as a young Nigerian student majoring in biochemistry. After graduating in 2016, I went on to pursue a master’s in biotechnology while also serving in the U.S. Army Reserve. I completed my degree in 2020 and began working in my field. In 2022, I finally landed my dream job as a federal civilian Chemist. I thought I had reached the pinnacle of my career but I was affected by the federal government downsizing and massive layoffs. When I came across this business opportunity, I didn’t hesitate to jump in because it felt like the perfect moment to take action.
Starting a business wasn’t something I had ever seriously considered before, but I’ve come to realize that being my own boss will give me the flexibility to work on my own terms. The biggest benefit for me is the peace of mind that comes with it—the chance to control my own future by building something of my own that could even become my main source of income. My ultimate goal is to retire my Dad and provide myself and my family with the quality of life we desire.
